CEEE Services

CEEE has over a decade-long record of producing superior work designed to advance student achievement. CEEE services are designed to improve educational programs that benefit all children, with an emphasis on districts and schools with a high percentage of children in poverty.

CEEE builds its technical assistance, research and evaluation services on research-based proven practices. The Center provides high quality, sustained professional development and technical assistance to clients at state, district, and school levels. Through technical assistance CEEE staff help school leaders and practitioners to take the best of what is known and to apply it. CEEE services also are designed to inform educational leaders through by conducting program evaluations and policy studies.

In the current climate of accountability it is more important than ever that educators make use of scientifically-based research to enhance instruction and increase student achievement. To help educators reach these goals, the CEEE team conducts policy research that expands understanding of current education legislation and its impact on students. The CEEE team also conducts evaluations of programs to help educators gauge the effectiveness of reform efforts.

Through a program of integrated initiatives, CEEE offers the following services:

Evidence-Based Technical Assistance and Professional Development

  • Use of data to inform school improvement processes
    A critical role of CEEE team is to help educators analyze, interpret, and disseminate data to facilitate continuous, comprehensive school improvement with special attention to policies that address the needs of economically disadvantaged students attending schools in need of improvement.

  • Systemic Planning
    The CEEE team is responsive to the needs of individual clients and works in partnership with clients to design effective school improvement strategies.

  • Professional Development
    The CEEE team provides professional development in teaching and learning in areas which include the following: literacy development, standards, assessment, and accountability systems, school reform models, and leadership development. These areas are addressed across special populations -- e.g., English language learners, students from high poverty.

Research and Evaluation

  • Policy Research
    The CEEE team conducts national and local policy and applied research focused on issues related to K–12 education. Study topics include state assessment policies, school reform, low performing schools, and the education of English language learners.

  • Program Evaluation
    The CEEE team designs and conducts program evaluation for states, districts, and schools and analyzes policy.
