Leadership Institute for Latino Literacy (LILL)

2007 Leadership Institute for Latino Literacy (LILL): GW-CEEE will be presenting this year's National Council of La Raza (NCLR) institute for secondary school educators in Miami, Florida on July 18-21, 2007. For registration, hotel, and travel information, click here.


July 31- August 4, 2006

National Council of La Raza (NCLR) is pleased to present the Leadership Institute for Latino Literacy. The Institute, presented by the National Council of La Raza with generous support from State Farm Insurance and developed by The George Washington University's Center for Equity and Excellence in Education (GWU/CEEE), has invited 50 middle and high school teachers to further develop their professional knowledge and practice, particularly in the area of literacy instruction and English language learners. Institute topics and activities are intended to be very practical and student-oriented.
